I’ve just found a great TV show I hadn’t heard of before. It’s Monty Hall’s Great Irish Escape and it’s a six part programme following Monty Hall’s adventures as he and his dog take up residence in a small cottage in Connemara and help to monitor wildlife in the atlantic ocean. It’s made before The Wild Atlantic Way had that name. Currently all six parts are available on BBC iPlayer – also as a cheap dvd on ebay or Amazon
